The River Findhorn flows through some of Scotland's most dramatic Highland scenery. Cold, fast, and crystal clear, it cuts deep gorges through ancient red sandstone. The Findhorn is widely considered one of the finest wild swimming rivers in the UK.

The Findhorn can rise very rapidly after rain in the Cairngorms. Always check river levels before attending. We never dip when the river is in spate. The chapter lead monitors conditions closely. The water is cold — 7°C in spring. Take your time and listen to your body.
